As part of our commitment to co-ordinating multi-agency work and supporting integration and constructive engagement in society, YouTurn is involved in supporting the Luton youth offending service (YOS) with the MAGPan (Multi-agency gang panel) and the Bedford YOS SYVP (Serious Youth Violence Panel).

The panels deliver co-ordinated intelligence-led and evidence based multi-agency partnership interventions with individuals who are involved in, at risk of involvement in, or directly affected by serious violence and gang related activity across Luton.

“Serious Youth Violence is behaviour involving the most serious violence; murder,
attempted murder, GBH, death by dangerous driving, death by aggravated vehicle
taking, any assault with injury, any weapon enabled crime or any sexual offence; that
occurs within a gang related context and where the perpetrator or victim is under 25
years of age.”
