Your donation transforms lives impacted by violence, exploitation & offending

Someone comforting a young person

Everyone deserves a second chance. You can help make it happen

Right now, across Bedfordshire and beyond, there are young people caught in cycles they never chose. Children as young as 12 being exploited by criminal gangs. Teenagers excluded from school with nowhere to turn. Adults trying desperately to break free from patterns of reoffending, but facing barriers at every step.

With 1 in 20 children in England at risk of criminal exploitation, and a 60% rise in child sexual exploitation over the past five years, the need has never been greater.

If you would like to support us by donating please click the Donate button or get in touch to discuss how you can help us in other ways.

Every pound donated helps us support people to overcome the challenges in their lives and progress to a more positive future for them, their families and communities.

When you donate to us if you know which project or aspect of our work you would like it to be assigned to, you can let us know, otherwise, we will assign it to the area with the greatest need at the time.

Philanthropists / Major Donors

Those dedicated to giving people a fresh start. They partner with us to put relationships at the heart of the criminal justice system and to build safer communities.

We define philanthropy as any gift over £5,000. If you’re able to support us with a gift of this size, you could help us to reduce reoffending and interrupt devastating cycles of intergenerational crime.

Ways to fundraise

Fundraise by hosting your own event, taking on a personal challenge, or getting your workplace or school involved. You can also raise money online through social media and crowdfunding platforms.

Give as you shop

The next time you buy things like holidays, train tickets, clothes or groceries, shopping through platforms like Give as you Live means we get a percentage of what you spend– at no extra cost to you. There are thousands of brands taking part and it is a simple way to support our work.

For example, if you spend £100 with Sainsbury’s, they will donate up to 7%, earning a £7 donation for us.

Each retailer sets their own donation amount, which will always be clearly displayed.

Give directly from your salary through payroll giving

With Give as you Earn, you can donate straight from your salary before tax is taken, making it easy to support our work every payday

Where your money goes

a young person being shown support

Provide a lifeline conversation

One phone call to our Direction for Bedfordshire service can connect someone leaving prison with housing support, mental health services, or addiction recovery programmes. It’s often the difference between falling back into old patterns and finding a new path forward.

Help fund a mentoring session

Through our Supported Pathway programme, intensive one-to-one support helps 16-24 year olds move away from serious violence, knife crime and gangs. These conversations build trust, set goals, and create the foundation for lasting change.

Support a family in crisis

When a young person is at risk, the whole family needs support. Your donation helps us work with parents to keep their children safe whilst addressing their own pathway needs, breaking cycles that might otherwise continue for generations.

Prevent a young person from exploitation

Early intervention in schools can identify vulnerable students before they fall into the hands of those who would exploit them. Through our School Navigator programme, we build relationships, deliver workshops on online safety and healthy relationships, and create protective networks around at-risk children.

Fund analytical support for smaller charities

Our data and impact reporting services help community organisations demonstrate their effectiveness to funders, ensuring vital local services can continue reaching those who need them most.

Your donation makes a difference

  • We coordinate Bedfordshire’s Integrated Offender Management scheme, which has delivered significant reductions in reoffending across the county
  • His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Probation described our work as “impressive”
  • We use proper measurement tools like the Warwick-Edinburgh wellbeing scoring system to track the mental health improvements of the people we support
  • Our trauma-informed approach, combined with meaningful feedback from every client, ensures we’re constantly improving our services

Young lives hanging in the balance

40% of excluded pupils are not in any form of education, training, or employment a year later. Without intervention, many drift into exploitation, criminality, or become victims of violence. But with the right support at the right time, these same young people can rebuild their confidence, develop life skills, and see a future full of possibilities.

Your donation could be what stands between a vulnerable teenager and a lifetime trapped in cycles of harm.

Together, we can change lives.
