About us
10 years of experience working collaboratively with police forces, probation, local authorities, the education sector, multi-agency partners and government departments to transform lives.
Who we are
YouTurn Futures is a multi-award-winning charity working alongside people across Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire who are impacted by violence and exploitation. Since 2014, we’ve grown from a small local initiative to a trusted partner of communities, statutory services, and the voluntary sector.
We know that young people at risk of serious violence and people with convictions face complex challenges around safety, education, housing, and employment. Years of working alongside them taught us that listening matters as much as doing. Good intentions alone aren’t enough without a deep understanding of the obstacles people actually face.
That’s why we developed our own Professional Practice Framework, built on the lived experience and professional expertise of our team. It’s person-centred and trauma-informed, grounded in data, evidence, strong partnerships, and clear working practices, with safety, trust, and empowerment at its heart.
Transparency keeps us accountable. We gather feedback from the people we support, track outcomes, and commission independent evaluations. This allows us to refine our approach, maintain high standards, and stay focused on what matters: preventing harm, opening up opportunities, and helping people take control of their futures.
Our vision is simple but powerful: to build safer, stronger communities where every young person and adult has the opportunity to live a positive, fulfilling life.

Our values
Collaboration
We achieve more by working together, sharing knowledge and trust.
Compassion
We see the person behind the circumstance and respond with care.
Inclusivity
We welcome everyone and celebrate diversity in all its forms.
Integrity
We stand by our principles and do what’s right for the people we support.
